Friday Favorites

If you have been around social media for any time at all, you have heard about Pinterest. Pinterest is a creative “bulletin board” launched by Ben Silbermann in January 2010. It is a visual tool that allows people to gather ideas and store them all in one location.

For those of you who are addicted to Pinterest like I am, the value of this sharing site doesn’t need to be pointed out. If you have yet to explore the wonderful world that is Pinterest, what are you waiting for? Pinterest allows you to create idea boards around specific themes. Let’s say you are planning your dream house. Simply create a “dream house” board and start pinning ideas that you would like to incorporate into your new home. Don’t worry! There are plenty of tutorials that will explain how the site works and help you get started. Just be careful. Before you know it, you’ve wasted three hours of your time and you’ve pinned 30 new recipes, 25 house ideas, 60 exercise routines, and so many funny quotes that your sides won’t stop hurting from laughing so much.

So what does this have to do with wallpaper and Friday Favorites? Mahone’s Wallpaper Shop has a Pinterest page where we share decorating ideas, inspirational quotes, wallpaper trends and holiday ideas. Each Friday on the blog we will be sharing five pins that we love. We hope that they inspire you to try something new in your home, finish your DIY projects or just find a way to be creative.

Let’s get started. In the comments, let us know which one is your favorite and what your Pinterest user name is so that we can follow you as well.
